A quality playing surface is crucial in the game of Lawn Bowls.  To help you achieve the best possible results, you need the most advanced turf care equipment available.

The "Queen" Bowling Green Mower is unsurpassed!  The result of over 30 years of constant development and testing, the Scott Bonnar Queen will give you the manicured greens you desire.

Features

The Scraper is an adjustable tray that can be set against the rear roller to collect any loose cuttings and wormcasts that have not been caught in the grass box.

The Teasing Rake lifts dry thatch and runners to let your green breathe and is followed by a low cut bottom blade (bed knife).  The bottom blade is precision ground for a 1mm cutting edge.

The Gearbox fitted on the Queen is 2-speed.  The change of speed relates to ground speed while the cutting reel speed remains constant.  Tests have shown that when used on low speed, an average of 30% more grass is taken off the green without affecting the cutting height resulting in a faster green.

The Cutting Reel enables precision fine turf mowing at up to 247 cuts per yard.  The 16 blade cutter is reversible for double life before re-sharpening.  The reel has a 180 degree spiral to give an even throw into the grass catcher.

The Rear Roller has four independently driven sections ensuring easy turning on the ends and no bruising of the turf.  Alignment with the front roller is infinitely adjustable.

The Gas Engine is fitted to the Queen for supply to lawn bowling clubs in North America is a Honda 5.5hp with a 2:1 gear reduction and a built-in centrifugal clutch.  The Queen is also available with a 250 volt electric motor.

A TCT Grooming Reel, developed as an option by Wood Bay Turf Technologies, is designed to enable an easy change out.  The reel has 65 carbide tipped vertical cutting blades (11 tips per blade).  The blades are spaced 3/8" apart for uniform removal of thatch and cleaning our of algae build-up in the upper turf layers.

The dynaGROOM 300 is manufactured by Wood Bay Turf Technologies and is designed to cut, groom and de-thatch.

It is powered by a sturdy 5.5 hp Honda engine and the rear roller has independently driven sections ensuring easy turning.

The cutting action of the blades controls lateral surface growth and removes thatch for better air, water and fertilizer penetration to the root zone. This helps control and balance the turf texture and encourage new growth. Vertical cutting also helps remove black algae from the upper turf layers.

Precision height adjustments enable close control of cutting depth, and of broom surface contact pressure.

Grooming Reel

The grooming reel for the dynaGROOM 300 has 51 tungsten carbide tipped vertical cutting blades, each with 11 cutting tips. It is designed to cut cleanly and sharply into the thatch layer, and the blades have fins to vacuum most of the thatch into the catcher. The number of blades can be reduced to suit turf and thatch conditions by placing 2 or more spacers between blades.

Broom Attachment

The broom attachment for the dynaGROOM 300 has five rows of nylon spiral bristles, and is reversible. The broom removes seeds, old clippings, aerification cores, thatch after verti-cutting and other unwanted materials. It can be used to "tease" the turf by lightly sweeping the surface.
